Bella Mae is an Australian-based clothing brand inspired and shaped by the beauty, strength and resilience of Australian country women.
Founded by Belgian-born creative Valerie Robeyn, the brand was born from a desire to empower and connect women, especially those living across remote and rural communities.
With a subtle European influence, Bella Mae brings a feminine, elevated and timeless feel to western-inspired fashion. Each piece is thoughtfully designed with quality fabrics, unique details and signature embroidery, made to be worn and loved far beyond one season, one place or one way of life.
Rooted in community, sisterhood, slow fashion and small-batch production, Bella Mae is made for women who want to feel confident, feminine and one of a kind.
DESIGNED IN AUSTRALIA
All Bella Mae pieces are designed in-house from my home studio in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
I started Bella Mae with no background in fashion, just an idea I believed in and a vision I wanted to bring to life.
Every design begins with a story and a feeling, shaped by rural Australia, country women and the beauty of life on the land. From the colours I choose to the smallest finishing details, each piece is created slowly and intentionally, with a deep focus on quality, fit and elevated details that make Bella Mae unique.

Bella Mae is built on a slower, more thoughtful way of creating.
We do not design for fast trends or mass production. Each collection is carefully considered, refined and released in small batches, so every piece feels intentional and true to the heart of the brand.
This slower process allows us to focus on quality over quantity, reduce overproduction and create garments that feel considered from the first idea to the final stitch.
For us, slow fashion means creating pieces with meaning — timeless styles made to be worn, loved and remembered.
